Tom Mathias receives Presser Foundation Award for his work on the comparative effectiveness of different practice strategies. The $10,000 award allowed Tom to travel to Tokyo, Japan to present his work at the International Conference for Music Perception and Cognition, to publish his work in the Journal for Research in Music Education, and to support further research.
